Mahima Makwana was born on August 5, 1999 in Mumbai. Though acting is her passion, she have always put studies as priority. She has managed to score 80% in her HSC examinations. She has started her career with a small roles in series like Balika Vadhu, Jhansi ki Rani, C.I.D., Aahat, Mile Jab Hum Tum and Mohe Rang De. She got her first break as a popular character in Sawaare Sabke Sapne – Preeto as Preeto’s youngest sister. She was seen as Rachna in the show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. She studies on the sets and take the notes over the phone.

According to the sources, Mahima fainted on the sets of DKBDHJ. She was not keeping well for a couple of days. She was taking medicines, but the stinging pain made it difficult for her to even continue shooting but she kept at it due to telecast issues. She said, “Yes, I am not keeping well. I wasn’t getting a chance to consult a doctor and was taking pain killers. The doctors scared me saying it might be migraine and has prescribed me bed rest. I have requested for leaves but with no bank of episodes, shooting is also very important. Hopefully, the pain will subside and I could get back to shoot.”
